In the District Court of Harris County, Texas, Helen Boyd-Owens has filed a lawsuit against Kroger Texas, LP. The case was filed on April 19, 2024, under the court case ID 2024-25603. The plaintiff alleges that she suffered severe injuries due to a slip and fall incident at a Kroger store.

Boyd-Owens, represented by an unidentified lawyer, claims that on November 17, 2023, she slipped on a liquid substance while shopping at a Kroger grocery store in Missouri City, Texas. The fall resulted in significant injuries to her body. The defendant Kroger Texas LP is a corporation conducting business in Texas and can be served with process through its registered agent Corporation Service Company.

The plaintiff argues that the accident was due to negligence on part of Kroger's employees who failed to maintain the premises in a safe manner. She also alleges that the employees were aware or should have been aware of the dangerous condition that led to her accident. Boyd-Owens seeks judgment for damages sustained from the incident and requests that Kroger answer in their correct legal and assumed names.
