Lucille Neri sues Capital Commercial Investments for severe injuries due to a fall

In the District Court of Harris County, Texas, Lucille Neri has filed a lawsuit against Capital Commercial Investments, Inc., Transwestern Commercial Services, L.L.C., and Transwestern Commercial Services Central Region, L.P. The case ID is 2024-25499 and was filed on April 19, 2024.

The plaintiff, Lucille Neri, alleges that she suffered severe injuries due to a fall on the steps outside an office building owned or managed by the defendants. The incident occurred on August 25, 2022 at Bellaire Place located at 6500 West Loop South in Bellaire, Harris County, Texas. According to the court filing, there were no warning signs and only one center handrail present at the location of the fall.

Neri is seeking monetary relief in excess of $1 million along with pre-judgment interest and attorney's fees. She claims that as an invitee at the premises for a doctor's appointment, the defendants owed her a duty to maintain reasonably safe conditions and provide adequate warnings of any dangerous conditions.
