Borrero promoted to BPD sergeant

Sgt. Yvette Borrero
Beaumont Police Officer Yvette Borrero was promoted to sergeant July 20.
She began her career in 1992 at the Angelina County Sheriff's Department as a jailer and was hired by the Beaumont Police Department in 1994.
Borrero holds an instructors certification and assists with the Lamar University Police Academy.
