GALVESTON - A Houston man's visit to a Galveston tattoo shop resulted in a lawsuit against one of its employees.
Alexander Hill says he went to the unnamed business in February to get a tattoo, but alleges he was instead Tasered twice by defendant James Pantalion Jr.
Hill's suit was filed Sept. 24 in Galveston County District Court.
Hill and Pantalion had successfully negotiated on a price prior to the alleged incident, the original petition says.
The plaintiff explains that he fell asleep on the table. Afterwards, Pantalion shocked him in the leg and once more in the chest, the suit says.
Hill insists that he did not invite the defendant to Taser him.
He claims the assault caused him to suffer an abnormal EKG, cardiomyopathy, and weakness in his right leg as well as mental anguish.
Consequently, Hill seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.
Attorney William P. Conrad is representing the plaintiff, and Galveston County 212th District Court Judge Susan Criss is presiding over the case.
