Woman sues RV park for dog attack

Rosemary Morris has filed suit against Kountry Rentals, claiming she was attacked by a dog while on the RV park's premises.

The suit was filed Oct. 18 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the petition, Morris was attacked on Aug. 19 by a dog owned by one of the park's occupants.

The suit does not give exact details of the incident but does allege Kountry Rentals had a duty to protect its residents from dangerous hazards, such as vicious dogs.

Morris is suing for past and future mental anguish, medical expenses, loss of earning capacity and pain.

She is represented by Dallas attorney Dean Malone.

Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court, has been assigned to the case.
