HOUSTON - A lawsuit seeking up to $1 million in damages is alleging a ceiling fan fell on a man eating at a taqueria.
Alleging negligence, Jorge Rodriguez-Cardona filed suit against the owner of Taqueria y Variedades La Oriental and Airline Center on March 29 in Harris County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on March 28, 2023, the plaintiff was at the store sitting at a table eating his food when a ceiling fan broke and fell, striking his head.
