Serra Moore sues Richmond Bryant Crutcher for vehicular collision due to alleged negligence

In the District Court of Harris County, Texas, Serra Moore has filed a lawsuit against Richmond Bryant Crutcher. The case, bearing the ID 2024-23393 and dated April 12, 2024, alleges that Crutcher's negligence led to a vehicular collision causing significant injury to Moore.

The incident in question occurred on September 25, 2022. According to Moore's attorney, Crutcher failed to yield the right of way while making a turn on Eldridge Parkway. This resulted in a collision with Moore's vehicle and caused injuries directly attributed to Crutcher's actions. The plaintiff seeks monetary relief between $250,000 and $1,000,000 for damages incurred.

Moore is seeking judgment based on allegations of gross negligence and negligence per se by Crutcher. She accuses him of failing to control his vehicle's speed, maintain an assured clear distance, yield the right-of-way, pay attention to driving conditions, take proper evasive action or timely apply brakes among other violations.
