Anisia Boone sues Ronald Cole for gross negligence leading to a car accident

In the District Court of Harris County, Texas, Anisia Boone has filed a lawsuit against Ronald Cole. The case, identified as 2024-25193 and dated April 19, 2024, alleges that Cole's gross negligence led to a car accident resulting in severe injuries and emotional distress for Boone.

On August 28, 2023, Boone was driving her 2020 black Kia Sportage when she was hit by a blue Nissan Altima operated by Cole. The defendant is accused of falling asleep at the wheel while intoxicated. The plaintiff suffered long-term injuries and extensive medical bills following the accident.

Sheth Victor Plancarte (#82847) of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office established Cole's gross negligence for driving under the influence of alcohol. As per Tex. R. Civ. P. 47, Boone is seeking damages exceeding $1,000,000 due to severe bodily injuries to her back and other parts of her body.
