In the District Court of Harris County, Texas, plaintiff Delano Hall has filed a lawsuit against Texas Outhouse, Inc. The case, identified as CAUSE NO. Envelope No. 86851323 and dated April 19, 2024, alleges workplace injury and retaliatory termination.

Delano Hall, a resident of Texas, was employed by Texas Outhouse, Inc., a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Texas with its principal place of business at 950 McCarty St., Building A, Houston, Texas. On December 1, 2022, Hall suffered an on-the-job injury and promptly notified his employer requesting medical attention. Subsequently on January 8, 2023, Hall's employment was terminated for what he claims to be a pretextual reason motivated by retaliatory intent.

Hall asserts that his termination led to substantial economic losses and severe mental anguish which will continue into the future. He also alleges that his employer had a pattern or practice of discriminating against injured workers for reporting on-the-job injuries or requesting medical attention through workers' compensation.

The plaintiff is seeking maximum damages allowed by Section 451.002 of the Texas Labor Code and at common law for his injuries which he claims resulted from defendant’s fraud. The value of this case is stated to be over $100,000 but less than $1 million.
