HOUSTON - A lawsuit seeking more than $1 million in damages is alleging that a man hired to repair shingles on the roof of an apartment complex slipped on some old shingles and fell.
Alleging negligence, Jamie Estrada Salgado filed suit against Om Shri Investments and Alejandro Valdez on April 26 in Harris County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on Sept. 1, 2023, Valdez hired Salgado to repair shingles on the roof of Brentwood Apartments. While working, he slipped on some old shingles and fell from the roof to the ground, suffering injury.
