Ricardo Ibanez has filed a lawsuit against Amalio Perez in the District Court of Harris County, Texas, under the court case ID 2024-24549 on April 17, 2024. The plaintiff alleges that the defendant's negligence and reckless driving resulted in a car crash into his apartment, causing him severe personal injuries.

On July 22, 2023, Ibanez was in his apartment at 6200 W Bellfort Ave., Apt. 336 when Perez drove through his bedroom wall, knocking him off his bed. Ibanez is seeking damages for physical pain and mental anguish both past and future, as well as for the reasonable and necessary costs for medical care and treatment including doctors, hospitals, nurses, medicines.
